Maintain your records
Find and review securities
Filter the securities register, interpret current and closed records, and find editing, grant lifecycle, transfer, and history actions.

Find the instrument
Open Securities. Choose All, Shares, Options, RSUs, Warrants, or SAFEs & notes. Records are listed with newer issue or grant dates first. Use global search for a specific label or holder when the register is long.
A filter changes which records are displayed; it does not remove data. Switching companies or replacing the dataset resets the instrument filter to All. On a narrow screen, scroll the table horizontally to reach the actions at the right.
Read the record and its status together
The register includes historical records such as transferred or repurchased certificates, cancelled grants, and converted instruments. Their presence explains earlier events and does not mean that every displayed quantity remains outstanding.
| Instrument | What to inspect |
|---|---|
| Shares | Issued quantity, class, price, vesting, and any transfer or repurchase status. |
| Options | Grant terms, outstanding and exercised quantities, vesting, cancellation, and exercise deadlines. |
| RSUs | Unsettled units, vesting, settlement history, and any liquidity condition. |
| Warrants | Quantity, strike, underlying class, and expiration. |
| SAFEs and notes | Principal or note balance, cap, discount, conversion status, and note maturity. |
Use the action that records the event
Choose the pencil action to edit a record. Options and RSUs also have Lifecycle actions: use these for exercises, certificates, settlements, and cancellations. Open Transfer or repurchase on an open share certificate for a change in its ownership or a company buyback.
Editing a holder name or reducing a grant quantity is not an equivalent record of a transfer or cancellation. The event workflows keep source records, successor certificates, dates, and quantities connected. Use the record form’s View history link to inspect its permanent transaction trail.
Reconcile the register with ownership
The Securities view lists the records on file, including records dated in the future. The Cap table view uses its selected as-of date, which defaults to today. A future issuance can therefore be visible in Securities before it contributes to today’s cap table.
Do not add every number in the register to obtain ownership. Use the cap table’s outstanding or fully diluted basis, which accounts for closed records and linked certificates. Investigate differences using Reconcile a cap table before changing quantities.
