Print cap tables and stakeholder statements
Prepare a company capitalization report or individual holdings statement, save it as PDF through the browser, and reconcile its scope with CSV exports.
On this page
Prepare the company capitalization report
- Open Cap table in the intended company.
- Set the as-of date and decide whether to include the unallocated pool.
- Review the displayed ownership and convertible records.
- Choose the print action and inspect the browser’s print preview.
- Select a printer or the browser’s PDF destination and save the output.
The printed report includes a summary, ownership by class and by stakeholder on both outstanding and fully diluted bases, relevant plan balances, outstanding convertibles, and issuance history where present. Its header identifies the reporting date, generation date, currency, and applicable pre-split units.
The outstanding/fully diluted screen toggle selects a view for reading. The company print report includes both bases. The unallocated-pool choice still affects its fully diluted denominator.
Prepare an individual holdings statement
Open Stakeholders, select the holder, and choose Print or save as PDF. Review the holder identity, securities, vesting, and status before saving the statement. The header identifies the selected company, holder, current reporting date, and currency.
The holder page uses current records and includes the unallocated pool in fully diluted ownership. It does not inherit the Cap table view’s historical date or pool toggle. For a dated company ownership picture, use the company capitalization report instead.
The page’s small History card is a recent activity summary. The History button opens the permanent record-filtered trail. A printed statement is a document; it does not create a holder login, live sharing link, or permission to access the company.
Choose CSV when you need the underlying rows
The Cap table CSV includes both outstanding and fully diluted percentage columns and honors the chosen date and pool treatment. It can include a separate convertible section. The holder CSV lists that holder’s instruments and their statuses, including closed historical records.
Neither file is the importer’s template. A readable report with headings, summaries, and several sections is not a company backup or a guaranteed import-ready CSV. Use the dedicated import template when preparing new records, and a JSON backup when preserving the company dataset.
Check the saved output
Inspect the first and last pages, long holder names, table columns, and the report header. Paper size, scale, margins, and browser headers are controlled by the print dialog. Adjust them if the preview clips a column or adds unwanted page information.
If the selected date has nothing outstanding, the app reports that condition rather than producing a populated ownership statement. Check future issue dates and earlier closed records before treating an empty result as missing data. Re-export after a correction; an already saved PDF does not update.
